Delete your account.
This page explains how to delete your Vairagya account (the app and website of Wellness with Vairagya) and what happens to your information when you do.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to Vairagya.
- Open Account, then My details and choices.
- Under Delete your account, press Ask to delete my account.
Your account is not removed at once. There is a waiting period of 14 days. During this time you can change your mind by signing in and cancelling the request. When the waiting period ends, your account is deleted. Any upcoming sessions are cancelled and the other person is told.
If you cannot sign in, write to adminwwv@gmail.com from the email address you registered with, with the subject "Delete my Vairagya account", and we will start the request for you.
What is deleted
- Your name, mobile number, languages, topics and other profile details (blanked)
- Your email address on the sign-in record (removed, and this cannot be undone)
- Your in-app and email notices
- A listener's profile text, photo, availability and saved payout details
- Written feedback comments
What is kept, and why
Some records have to stay because other records depend on them, or because they are needed for safety, accounting or legal reasons. After you delete your account these records stay but no longer lead to your name, email address or phone number.
- Records that a session took place (who, when and its status), without your name
- Payment and payout records, and the record of what you agreed to (terms and consents)
- Safety reports, safety check-in records and staff actions taken to keep people safe
- A security log of actions on the service
How long these are kept is set out in our privacy policy. If money is still owed to a listener when the waiting period ends, the deletion waits until it has been settled.
Other choices
On the same My details and choices page you can see and download your data, and correct your name, languages and topics, without deleting your account.
